Irvine, CA - April 7 - The U.S. Women's Youth National Team beat Argentina 26-4 earlier today in the semifinals at the 2023 Pan American Aquatics U17 Championships. Reagan Weir led Team USA with five goals and Keri Glad notched four saves in the win. A replay of the semifinal can be

Team USA found itself behind early in this game, an unusual position, as Argentina scored first. The USA Women did not let the deficit last long as they equalized within ninety seconds and took the lead shortly after with five goals to Argentina's two in the period. The Americans scored six times in the second quarter while holding the Argentinian offense down to lead 11-2 at the half. The United States had the offense humming in the third quarter, finding the back of the net ten times to Argentina's two to effectively put the game away. In the final frame, Team USA ran through the finish line with five goals to advance to the Gold Medal game, 26-4.
