2. With membership revenue (and USOPC support), why does USA Water Polo need more money?
America does not receive government funding for its Olympic programs. The US Olympic and Paralympic Committee offers limited support through corporate sponsorships. Membership revenue gets us only so far in programming and operating costs. We face an annual gap of $1.5M between these funding sources and the costs associated with achieving our goals.

3. What if I can't afford to make a large gift this year? Does my gift even make a difference?
Every tax-deductible gift makes a difference to USAWP. Your gift sends a powerful message that you support this institution and its mission. Gifts of all sizes make an impact. Some foundations and other grant-making organizations look at the number of gifts rather than total amounts when determining grant requests. Your gift, viewed as a vote of confidence, could help USAWP secure thousands of additional dollars in funding.

4. What's the difference between restricted and unrestricted gifts?
Unrestricted gift are placed in our general fund and allocated to support our goals. Restricted gifts are donations you can designate to the areas that matter most to you.
