Irvine, CA - October 19 - A big week in A1 Ethniki League action highlighted the third week of Men's National Team players abroad as multiple teammates squared off against each other for the first time. Meanwhile action continued in Hungary, Croatia and Montenegro while the Italian League is still on hold.

It was a busy week for the Men's National Team in Greece as each team played two games. There were multiple games that saw National Team teammates square off against each other with the first slate of games seeing
Bennett Williams and Nox-Xania defeat Chios 7-4. Williams notched one goal in the win while
Drew Holland and
Thomas Gruwell both made appearances for Chios. Next Apollon and
Alex Bowen squared off against
Chancellor Ramirez and
Johnny Hooper on Palaio Faliro. It was Apollon who came away with a 13-7 victory with Bowen scoring one goal while
Johnny Hooper scored two for Palaio Faliro.
Ben Stevenson scored six goals to lead Glyfada to an 11-8 victory over Ethnikos. Stevenson scored several key goals to prevent any hope at an Ethnikos comeback while teammate
Dylan Woodhead added two goals. Olympiacos notched their first victory of the season as they defeated AEK 17-5 with
Max Irving scoring two goals while
Hannes Daube did not feature. Lastly
Matt Farmer scored two goals to lead Peristeri to an 8-6 win over Hydraikos as they started the season with back to back wins.
The second slate of games on the weekend saw a big matchup of teammates as Olympiacos faced off against Apollon with Olympiacos emerging with a 14-8 victory.
Hannes Daube and
Max Irving each scored one goal for the victors while
Alex Bowen notched two for Apollon. In the other match that saw teammates square off it was Nox Xania and Bennet Williams defeating Palaio Faliro 9-8. Williams scored one goal in the win while
Chancellor Ramirez scored two goal and Johhny Hooper scored one for Palaio Faliro. In other matches
Ben Stevenson and
Dylan Woodhead each scored a goal as Glyfada fell 12-7 to PAOK. While Chios earned its first victory of the season as they took down Panionious 11-7.
Drew Holland came up with several big saves in the win while
Thomas Gruwell notched a goal. Lastly
Matt Farmer contributed a goal as Peristeri continued its undefeated start to the season with an 11-9 victory over Ethnikos.
Ash Molthen and VK Primorac came up short in the Montenegro Cup as they fell to Jadran 12-6 in the first match and then lost 8-6 in the second leg. Molthen scored one goal in the first game and one in the second game. To re-watch both games

VK-Jug faced a big test this weekend as they faced off against Jadran Split and they weren't to be denied as they won 11-8 with
Alex Obert scoring a late goal.
Kaposvari resumed action in the Hungarian League this past weekend falling 17-8 to Ferencváros, the recent winner of the Hungarian Cup.
Kacper Langiewicz finished tied as the joint leading scorer with two goals. To re-watch the game

The Italian league featuring
Ben Hallock at Pro Recco and
Marko Vavic at AS Roma Nuoto is still on hold. The Men's National Team will be taking part in the
HEP Cup from October 26-28 so most or all will not be competing in club games this week.
