LEN Champions League, Day 10
Marseille 4 - 11 Novi Beograd
Team USA attacker Hannes Daube and Marseille lost to Novi Beograd on Day 10 in Group B. The Serbians' defense was up to the task early in this game and the home side opened a 3-1 lead after one quarter. The second period was more balanced with both defenses working well. Marseille ended the drought on a man-up advantage in the 14th minute, but Novi Beograd responded 30 seconds later with a power play goal for 4-2.
Marseille came very close one more time after a nice goal to cut the deficit to one, 3-4. That was the wake-up call for Novi Beograd. Midway through the period, the Serbian squad started taking control, scoring four consecutive goals by the end of the third to take an 8-3 lead into the final frame. There were no goals for much of the fourth period. Two and a half minutes before the end, Novi Beograd added another for 9-3. Marseille ended a scoreless phase that lasted 11 minutes, but the hosts added two goals late for the 11-4 win.
Vouliagmeni 10 - 10 Jadran Split
Team USA center Matt Farmer and defender Dylan Woodhead of Vouliagmeni shared the points with Jadran Split. The Greek squad kept a 3-goal distance ahead of Jadran in the race for fourth in the Group A standings. Jadran started well and had a 3-1 lead after the first period, but Vouliagmeni erased the deficit with two scores in the first 84 seconds of the second. Jadran led 4-3 and 5-4 in this quarter. However, ten seconds before the end of the first half, Woodhead converted a power play opportunity from close-range after a nice pass for a slim halftime lead, 6-5.
Jadran retook control in the third period and headed into the final frame with a 9-8 advantage. At the beginning of the fourth, the Croatian team scored an action goal for 10-8. Vouliagmeni scored two goals in the 28th minute to catch up with Jadran. There were no goals in the last four minutes, but both teams had good chances. Woodhead and Farmer each scored one in the contest for Vouliagmeni.
Pro Recco 21 - 4 Waspo98Hannover
Team USA center Ben Hallock and Pro Recco outplayed the German team from start to finish. The 21 goals equals the single-game scoring record in Champions League play this season while the 17 goal margin of victory sets a new single-game mark. Recco kept Hannover goalless until the fourth quarter as Marco Del Lungo blocked 13 shots for the European champions. The home side entered the final frame with a 14-0 lead. Hannover scored its first goal in the 25th minute (1-14). Recco's defense weakened in the final period, but Hannover had no chance to come back.
French Domestic League, Day 15
Noisy-le-Sec 15 - 17 Tourcoing
Team USA attacker Alex Bowen and Noisy-le-Sec opened the week with a postponed game from the 15th round against Tourcoing. There were a lot of holes in both defenses and the game turned into a scoring barrage with 32 goals. Tourcoing started strong which proved key to the hosts' win. The home side led 13-4 in the 14th minute before Noisy started climbing back. The Parisians reduced the gap to two minutes before the end. There was still enough time to complete the turnaround but nobody found the net in the remaining time and Tourcoing celebrated an important win. Bowen scored twice for Noisy in the game.
French Domestic League, Day 16
Marseille 14 - 10 Noisy-le-Sec
Bowen and Noisy-le-Sec welcomed Daube and Marseille on Match Day 16 of the French season. Marseille started well and built a 4-0 lead in the first quarter. The visitors opened the second quarter with a goal for 5-0 in the first possession of the period. Immediately after, Noisy responded to get on the scoreboard. The hosts started coming back, but they couldn't catch Marseille. The visitors had a 7-1 lead after a penalty shot in the 14th minute. But Noisy would not go quietly. Two and a half minutes before the last break, Bowen cut Noisy's deficit to just two goals, 6-8. Marseille did not let the hosts come back. The visitors added to the lead with two more goals. In the remaining time, the difference was never smaller than three goals. Bowen recorded a hat trick for the Parisians in the loss.
Aix-en-Provence 20 - 13 Reims
Team USA attacker Thomas Dunstan and Aix-en-Provence beat Reims 20-13. The game was an even contest until 6-6. Then, Aix scored six straight goals in six minutes and there was no way back for Reims. Dunstan netted a pair of goals for Aix on the day.
Italian Domestic League, Day 21
Pro Recco 15 - 5 Ortigia
Team USA center Ben Hallock and Pro Recco emerged victorious over Ortigia. The game started with Pro Recco taking an early 2-0 lead, but Ortigia quickly responded with two goals to level the score. Pro Recco made a series of goals to take a 5-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second period, Pro Recco continued its dominance by scoring three more goals and extending the lead to 8-3. Ortigia managed just two goals until the end of the game, while Pro Recco scored seven more to seal the victory.
Telimar 14 - 5 Catania
Team USA attackers Max Irving and Johnny Hooper secured a victory against Catania with Telimar. The hosts dominated the game and were able to establish their lead in the third period, when they went ahead 11-4. Telimar continued to build on the lead in the final frame. Irving scored three and Hooper added two for Telimar in the win.
Posillipo 10 - 6 Salerno
Team USA attackers Tyler Abramson, Ben Stevenson, and Posillipo put on a great performance against Salerno, securing a 10-6 victory. Posillipo got off to a strong start, scoring the first five goals of the game, however, Salerno managed to fight back and brought the score even to 5-5 to start the final frame. Despite Salerno's comeback bid, Posillipo scored five more goals in the fourth. Abramson recorded a hat trick while Stevenson scored one for Posillipo in the contest.
Spanish Domestic League, Day 18
Barcelona 12 - 7 Caballa
Team USA attackers Marko Vavic and Luca Cupido had a good start with Barcelona against Caballa and took a 3-0 lead. However, Caballa started fighting back. Caballa leveled at 3-3, 4-4, and 5-5 in the second quarter. Caballa earned a 6-5 lead in the third and the visitors kept the advantage for a while. Barcelona retook control at the end of the period. Vavic scored two goals within 18 seconds in the 23rd minute and put Barcelona in front by one. The hosts dominated the final frame to claim a 12-7 victory.
Mataro 15 - 6 Catalunya
Team USA goalkeeper Jack Turner and Mataro defeated Catalunya. After a 3-3 first quarter, Catalunya scored the first goal in the second period for 4-3. After that, Mataro produced a 6-0 run, holding Catalunya goalless for 13 minutes, and earned the points.
Mediterrani 3 - 9 Sabadell
Team USA defender Mason McQuet and Mediterrani fell to Sabadell, 9-3.
Hungarian Domestic League, Day 19
Kaposvary 4 - 17 Honved
Team USA utility man Kacper Langiewicz and Kaposvary lost to Honved.

Women's Spanish Domestic League, Day 19
Sabadell 21 - 8 Catalunya
Team USA attacker Maggie Steffens and Sabadell turned in a dominant performance against Catalunya. A 4-0 first quarter turned into a 6-0 lead early in the second period for Sabadell. Catalunya improved, and found a way to score on the Sabadell defense with four goals in the second, but it was not enough. Well before the end, the game was in the bag for Sabadell. Steffens scored one for Sabadell in the big win.
