The result means Panathinaikos loses the series 3-0 to Greek juggernaut Olympiacos, who have claimed a record 40th national championship.

Team USA utility Jack Larsen and Sabadell lost game two to Barceloneta, 16-11, in the Spanish league final round. Barceloneta wins the series 2-0 as its domestic dominance continues with a 21st straight Spanish crown.

Ortigia 20, TeliMar 18
Team USA attacker Max Irving and Pro Recco completed a perfect regular season in Italy with a 19-14 win over Brescia. Elsewhere, Team USA attacker Nicolas Saveljic and TeliMar lost to Ortigia, 20-18. Irving and Pro Recco will face Roma Vis Nova in the quarterfinals while Saveljic and TeliMar will play Ortigia once again in the relegation playoffs.
