Jovana Sekulic won the Women's Champions League title last week with Olympiacos! Sekulic got past her international teammates
Jewel Roemer and
Paige Hauschild with Mataro in the semifinal round before outlasting FTC-Telekom in the gold medal match. Team USA attackers Roemer and Hauschild faced Spanish rival Sant Andreu for the bronze medal but came up just short to finish in fourth place in Europe. Despite two losses in Malta, Roemer was fantastic as she scored four goals in each contest for Mataro.
