Team USA attacker Max Irving scored four goals for Pro Recco in its 20-14 win over Waspo Hannover. Pro Recco will face FTC Telekom in its next Champions League match.

Women's Champions League - Quarterfinal Stage, First Leg

Olympiacos 17, Sabadell 12
Mataro 13, SIS Roma 9

Team USA teammates did battle when utility Jovana Sekulic and Olympiacos beat goalkeeper Isabel Williams, center Tara Prentice, and Sabadell. Sekulic scored twice for the Greek side while Prentice put home one for Sabadell. Elsewhere in Spain, Team USA attackers Jewel Roemer and Paige Hauschild defeated SIS Roma with Mataro. Roemer scored a game-high four goals while Hauschild added one for the Spanish side.

Women's Euro Cup - Semifinal, First Leg

Trieste 12, Barceloneta 12

Team USA attacker Malia Allen and Trieste ended in a draw with Barceloneta in Spain during the Euro Cup semifinal first leg. Trieste will face Barceloneta again at home on May 16 with the winner through to the final.

Irving and Pro Recco gained another six points with an 18-9 win over Florentia and a 19-16 victory against Savona. Irving scored once in the win over Florentia. Team USA attacker Nicolas Saveljic and TeliMar lost to Posillipo in the return to action following the World Cup qualifiers and then defeated De Akker in Round 22. Saveljic scored four for TeliMar in its victory against De Akker.

Men's Greek League - Second Phase, Round 7 & 8

Apollon Smyrnis 12, Panathinaikos 11

Apollon Smyrnis 23, Palaio Faliro 5
Olympiacos 14, Panathinaikos 10

Team USA attacker Hannes Daube scored once for Apollon Smyrnis who beat Team USA goalkeeper Adrian Weinberg and Panathinaikos, 12-11, in Greek League action. Daube also recorded a hat trick in the next game against Palaio Faliro. Weinberg and Panathinaikos could not get back on track in the following game against Olympiacos.

Team USA utility Jack Larsen and Sabadell beat Caballa in a return to Division de Honor play from the World Cup qualifiers.

Women's Spanish League - Round 19 & 20

Sabadell 12, Terrassa 8
Mataro 19, Catalunya 9

Sabadell 27, Iruna 9
Mataro 14, Mediterrani 9

Prentice and Williams upended Terrassa, 12-8, and Iruna, 27-9, in a pair of domestic showdowns in Spain. In other Division de Honor news, Roemer and Hauschild also picked up two wins with Mataro against Catalunya and Mediterrani.
