Singapore - July 16 - The USA Men's National Team finished group play at the World Championships with an unblemished record after a 26-6 win over Singapore. Ryder Dodd and Max Irving led the way with four goals apiece while Adrian Weinberg and Bernardo Herzer combined for four saves in net. Team USA advances straight to the quarterfinals against the winner of Serbia-Japan on Sunday at 7:10am et/4:10am pt. Live streaming of all USA matches will be available on Peacock (login required).

Team USA got started early in this match. Ninety seconds in, Marko Vavic scored the game's first goal for an early 1-0 lead that the United States would never relinquish. Midway through the quarter, Irving doubled the advantage before Vavic and Ben Liechty made it 4-0 after one.

Singapore got on the board to begin the second period but Irving, Chase Dodd, and Vavic responded with a trio of goals for a 7-1 lead. The hosts then scored their second goal on a man advantage before Ryan Ohl put one away late to set the halftime score at 8-2.

The third quarter was an offensive barrage for the Americans as they found the back of the net ten times to take full control in this game. After Singapore scored first, Team USA pounced. Irving, Liechty, Ryder Dodd, Ryan Ohl, and Dominic Brown poured in five goals for a 13-3 lead by the midpoint of the quarter. Then, Singapore earned a penalty shot and converted for their fourth goal before Ryder Dodd, Irving, Connor Ohl, and Nicolas Saveljic (2) silenced any doubt with another handful of scores for an 18-4 edge after three.

In the final frame, the United States produced eight goals to officially claim victory. Ryder Dodd (2), Connor Ohl, Hannes Daube (2), Saveljic, Chase Dodd, and Ryan Ohl were the fourth period goal scorers opposite two more scores for the hosts as the Americans rolled to the 26-6 win.

Team USA went 1/1 on power plays and 2/2 on penalties while Singapore went 2/6 on power plays and 1/1 on penalties.
