USA Water Polo and U.S. Navy Announce Strategic Partnership Ahead of 2025 Junior Olympics

Navy - Official Partner

IRVINE, CA - June 17, 2025 - USA Water Polo is proud to announce a landmark partnership with the United States Navy, marking a powerful alignment between two organizations built on shared values of leadership, discipline, and excellence. Launching in conjunction with the 2025 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics, this exciting new collaboration elevates the Navy as a Premier Partner and reflects a shared mission to inspire the next generation of champions—both in and out of the pool.

As part of this partnership, the U.S. Navy will take on naming rights for the largest youth water polo tournament in the world, now officially titled the USA Water Polo Junior Olympics Powered by the Navy Special Operations. This title recognition will be showcased across event signage, digital platforms, and public-facing materials throughout the summer.

The partnership creates robust opportunities for engagement, beginning with a commanding on-site presence at all three Junior Olympic sessions in Irvine, California and cities in north Texas, where the Navy will host activation zones to connect directly with athletes, families, and fans. Beyond the event grounds, the Navy will be featured prominently on USA Water Polo's website, in social media campaigns, and within dedicated email communications reaching thousands across the national water polo community.

"This partnership reflects the Navy's commitment to connecting with young men and women who embody characteristics we hold dear—discipline, leadership, and a relentless drive for excellence," said Rear Adm. James Waters, Commander, Navy Recruiting Command. "By teaming up with USA Water Polo, we are building relationships with young leaders who have the strength and resilience to succeed both in and out of the water."

The partnership also extends beyond the Junior Olympics, giving the Navy year-round visibility during USA Water Polo's National Team webcasts through 30-second commercials and public announcements. In addition, the Navy will engage with athletes and fans at USA Water Polo's Signature and National Events throughout the year—creating ongoing opportunities to share the Navy's story, inspire young leaders, and highlight pathways to service.

"This partnership represents a natural synergy between our athletes and the Navy's core values—Honor, Courage, and Commitment," said Jamie Davis, CEO at USA Water Polo. "Together, we're not only advancing the sport but also introducing the next generation of leaders to extraordinary opportunities for service and impact."
