Volos, Greece - August 25 - The USA Men's Cadet National Team picked up another win at the FINA U16 World Championship earlier today, beating Germany 9-8.

Team USA and Germany traded goals in the opening period of this game.
Colt Bradley and Brinkema scored for the Americans alongside a pair of goals from Finn Taubert for Germany to make the score 2-2 after one. Germany used a big second quarter to stretch the lead with four goals while the United States converted a penalty shot from Forer with 1:07 to go in the half to make the score 6-3 in favor of the Germans at intermission.
Team USA responded in the third with a big quarter of their own. The Americans got goals from Brinkema (2) and Forer (2) in the period as Taubert put another one home for Germany to make the score 7-7 going to the final frame. In the fourth quarter,
Maddox Arlett and Forer put Team USA ahead by two before Germany added a goal with 1:07 to go but they would not have enough down the stretch and the United States held on to win by a final score of 9-8.
Team USA scored twice on power plays and went 2/2 on penalty shots while Germany scored twice on power plays and went 2/2 on penalty shots.
