The winner of the S & R Sport Referee of the Month for November 2014 is Ricardo Bello of the Southwest Zone. For winning referee of the month Ricardo receives a $50 gift certificate to SRSport.com.

We are proud to announce his month's Referee of the Month winner is Ricardo Bello of the Southwest Zone.

Born in Venezuela, and now residing in Houston, Ricardo started playing the sport in Miami at the age of 13 when his family moved to the United States.

He has been playing the sport he fell in love with ever since. He recently concluded a stellar playing career at the University of Texas where he led his team to Podium Finishes in both 2010 and 2012.

Ricardo began his officiating career shortly thereafter in the Summer of 2012 and although he still plays and dabbles a little in Coaching with the World Renown Viper Pigeon Water Polo Club in Houston, TX his true passion is officiating the sport he has grown attached to.

Like so many others, Ricardo has found a way to give back to the sport through his officiating.

He was recently selected to officiate at the TYR Champions Cup in his home Southwest Zone where he was tabbed to officiate several advancement and medal round games.

Ricardo is truly "hooked" on refereeing and has vowed to take advantage of each and every professional development opportunity that comes his way.
