The Lakeside Vikings girls completed the Georgia season with only one loss and earned the number one seed entering last weekend's GHSWPA state championship tournament. There they performed as the seedings predicted beating number two Collins Hills in the title match, 9-6.

The boys begin their championships this Friday and crown champions on Sunday the 12th in Cumming. Interest in the sport has grown so that the state now supports three separate divisions with 20 teams total. Tournament schedules and updates are available on the GHSWPA web site.
