The Experience of a Lifetime for Award Winners
Award winners receive an expenses-paid trip to PCA's National Youth Sports Awards sponsored by Deloitte. Our Seventh Annual National Youth Sports Awards Ceremony welcomed NFL Hall of Fame and San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl Champion quarterback Steve Young, who delivered a moving description of how the late Bill Walsh, a PCA National Advisory Board Member, helped him develop into a Super Bowl-champion quarterback. We also welcomed former UC Davis Head Football Coach Jim Sochor, who received the Ronald L. Jensen Award for Lifetime Achievement from two famous proteges, University of Oregon Head Football Coach Mike Bellotti, and former Pitt and USC Head Coach Paul Hackett.

Nominees will be assessed on the basis of how closely their coaching actions and programs exemplify the Positive Coach Mental Model.
