Bauru, Brazil - September 3 - The USA Cadet Women's National Team outlasted Brazil 16-15 today after a lengthy penalty shootout at the U15 Pan American Championship. Team captain Cece Mesenbrink scored the game-winner in the eighth round of the penalty shootout and goalkeeper Alyvia Dunn blocked Brazil's final attempt to secure victory. Mesenbrink scored four goals and added two assists to earn match MVP honors. Team USA advances to the quarterfinals on Thursday where they will meet Chile at 9:20am et/6:20am pt.
