Team USA attacker Max Irving and Pro Recco defeated Novi Beograd 12-9 in Group B action to mathematically secure their place in the quarterfinals. Elsewhere, Team USA utility man Jack Larsen and Sabadell fell to Barceloneta, 13-7, in Group D play.

Max Irving scored one for Pro Recco in an 11-7 win over Savona to remain perfect in Serie A1. Team USA attacker Nicolas Saveljic and TeliMar lost to De Akker, 15-12, in Round 9.

Men's Greek League - Round 8

Apollon Smyrnis 23, Glyfada 8
Panathinaikos 16, Paleos Faliro 3

Team USA attacker Hannes Daube scored two goals for Apollon Smyrnis who got back to winning ways against Glyfada, 23-8. Elsewhere, Adrian Weinberg and Panathinaikos dominated Paleos Faliro, 16-3, and remain undefeated in Greece.

 

Men's Spanish League - Round 7

Sabadell 19, Catalunya 9

Jack Larsen and Sabadell prevailed over Catalunya, 19-9, to remain in third place in Spain.

Mediterrani 19, Tenerife Echeyde 9

Team USA center Tara Prentice scored once and goalkeeper Isabel Williams manned the cage for Sabadell in its big win over Sant Feliu, 19-6. Elsewhere, Team USA attacker Jewel Roemer scored twice for Mataro who put up 24 goals in a dominant win against Sant Andreu. Finally, Team USA attacker Maryn Dempsey registered a hat trick for Tenerife Echeyde who lost to Mediterrani, 19-9.
