Irvine, CA - April 8 - The U.S. Men's Youth National Team beat Brazil 19-9 earlier today to claim the Gold Medal at the 2023 Pan American Aquatics U17 Championships in Bauru, Brazil! Team USA was led by Ben Forer with six goals while Maddox Arlett added three for the United States.
Ryder Dodd was awarded the Tournament MVP following the game. A replay of the Gold Medal win can be

The USA Men conceded the opening goal of the contest before rattling off five straight scores for a 5-1 lead after one. Team USA again let Brazil score first in the second period but the Americans responded again, this time connecting on seven consecutive goals for a 12-2 halftime edge. In the third quarter, the United States opened the scoring before trading goals with the hosts to lead 17-6 headed into the final frame. Brazil sank three in the fourth while the USA Men put away two more to come away with the Gold Medal.
