Santiago, Chile - November 2 - The USA Men's National Team defeated Chile 28-2 to advance to the semifinals of the Pan American Games.
Ryder Dodd led the offense with an eight-goal outburst while
Drew Holland and

The United States opened with a four-goal lead in the first behind four different scorers as Dodd,
Hannes Daube,
Johnny Hooper and
Max Irving all contributed. Nine more unanswered goals followed in the second quarter as Team USA build a 13-0 edge at halftime. Chile broke through with a goal in the third quarter, much to the delight of the home crowd, but the United States responded with four more goals to lead 17-1 after three. Daube opened up a high-scoring fourth period with two straight goals as Team USA would connect for 11 scores in the final frame.
Ben Hallock finished things off with a score to close out the match.
Team USA went 7/10 on power plays and 1/1 on penalties while Chile did not attempt a power play or penalty shot.
