Debrecen, Hungary - June 22 - The USA Women's National Team continued group play at the FINA World Championship with a 11-7 win over the Netherlands earlier today in Hungary.
Maddie Musselman scored four times with
Ryann Neushul adding two goals in the win.

Team USA was steady throughout the contest, scoring three goals in each of the first three periods to gain an advantage. They matched the Dutch in the fourth to secure the win. Musselman opened the scoring in the first quarter on a power play goal followed by
Rachel Fattal converting on a player advantage.
Stephania Haralabidis put away a penalty shot for the Americans' third goal of the period. Neushul started the second period with a power play goal and finished it with a penalty score while Musselman added another halfway through the frame for a 6-3 edge at halftime.
In the third quarter, the United States gained their largest lead of the contest.
Jordan Raney, Musselman, and
Denise Mammolito each scored in the quarter to push the lead to five at 9-4. The Netherlands responded with three straight goals from the third quarter into the fourth to cut the lead to two, 9-7. Musselman and
Kaleigh Gilchrist put the game out of reach for the Dutch with two more goals in the fourth for Team USA en route to the 11-7 victory.
The United States went 4/9 on power plays and 3/3 on penalty shots while the Netherlands went 2/5 on power plays and 1/1 on penalty shots.
