Ben Stevenson all scored three goals each to pace the offense with

Team USA took the edge 4-2 after the first quarter and then surged ahead in the second quarter with five unanswered goals for a 9-2 lead at halftime. Brazil battled back in the third quarter adding three goals to trail 12-5 going to the fourth. They stepped their game up in the final period outscoring Team USA 4-2 but it wasn't enough to alter the outcome as Team USA took the win by five. The United States went 7/12 on power plays and 0/1 on penalties while Brazil went 4/10 on power plays with no penalties attempted.Â
