USA Women Defeat Colombia in First Match Since Tokyo Olympic Games

Lima, Peru – March 7 - The USA Women's Senior National Team returned to action for the first time since the Tokyo Olympic Games with a match against Colombia in Lima. Team USA made a statement with a 26-3 victory, led by six goals from Jenna Flynn and four goals from Emily Ausmus. Watch a full replay below.
 
Team USA took the early lead after going in front 7-0 in the opening quarter. The second quarter was more of the same with Team USA adding eight goals to Colombia's one to lead 15-1 at intermission. In the third, Team USA increased their cushion by two and led 18-2 going to the fourth. In the fourth, Team USA netted another eight goals on their way to the 26-3 victory.
 
Team USA went 5/9 on power plays and 5/5 on penalty shots while Colombia went 1/3 on power plays with no penalties attempted.
