Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain - November 3 - The USA Women's National Team defeated Canada 11-5 at the FINA World League Super Final earlier today.
Jewel Roemer led the offense with four goals in the win while

Team USA held a 3-1 lead after the first period from goals by
Rachel Fattal, Roemer, and
Ryann Neushul. In the second quarter, the United States turned up the offense with five goals scored by
Jordan Raney (2), Roemer,
Emily Ausmus, and Ella Woodhead. Canada managed one score in the quarter as the Americans held a 8-2 lead at halftime. The teams traded scores in the third period with Fattal and Roemer scoring for Team USA opposite two goals from the Canadians to make the score 10-4 going into the fourth period. Roemer put home her fourth score of the contest in the final frame before Canada
scored the last goal of the match with 4:18 to play, and the United States earned the 11-5 win.
The United States went 3/7 on power plays and 1/1 on penalties while Canada went 1/8 on power plays with no penalties attempted.
