The Croatian Championship featuring
Alex Obert with Jug wrapped up last week with game five action. After winning the last two games Mladost carried all the momentum into the final game as they took a 2-1 lead at the end of the first. Jug fought back though to tie it at 4-4 at halftime. The next two quarters were back and forth as Jug grabbed a late equalizer to send the game to a shootout all tied 7-7. Mladost emerged victorious in the shootout 12-11 as they captured the Croatian Championship with a thrilling come from behind series victory. Next up Jug will compete in the Final 8 of the LEN Champions League.

The Final 8 of the LEN Championships League kicks of this week from June 3-5 in Belgrade, Serbia. The format of the competition is single elimination with a winner's and a loser's bracket. Pro Recco with
Ben Hallock start things off on June 3 as they take on Hannover at 4:00 AM PT. Following that Jug and
Alex Obert take on Brescia at 9:00 AM PT. Lastly Olympiacos with
Hannes Daube and
Max Irving take on CNAB at 11:30 AM PT. The semifinal games will then take place on June 4 followed by the final placement matches on June 5. All games can be streamed and re-watched by
