Chengdu, China - July 10 - The USA Men's National Team won gold at the China Wenjiang International Water Polo Tournament after defeating Montenegro 8-4 in the final. Team USA finished 3-1 at the tournament which served as preparation for the upcoming FINA World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea. In addition to the win over Montenegro, Team USA also picked up victories over China and Canada. Hannes Dabue (Long Beach, CA/USC/North Irvine WPC) led Team USA with two goals in the final and earned top shooter of the tournament honors. See below for stats from each match.
