High School: Indio High School 1976-1980. Boys Water Polo Team four years No girls team at high school. All American 2 years Varsity and Letterman 3 years. Varsity. All American 4 years Girls Swimming Team

College: Attended Cal State University San Diego and swam 4 years, All American three years and Finalist at NCAA's four years, Competed in the US Olympic Trials in 1984. Received swimming scholarship to Cal State University San Diego, Played four years for the Sunset College Club. Water Polo was not an official sport while attending college

Participation:

  • Club All American thirteen years
  • Played on thirteen National Championship Teams
  • Member of the Women's National Team thirteen years
  • Attended World Championships in 1982 and 1986
  • Member of three FINA World Cup Teams.

Personal:

  • Currently employed with the Walt Disney Company for the past five years as a Project Manager at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California
  • Laura has two daughters, Samantha (13) and Christin (9)
  • She continues to play Masters Water Polo.
