Michaela Spector joined USA Water Polo in December 2022.  Formerly the Director of Ready, Set, Gold!(RSG!), RSG! inspires the next generation through sport.  Under Michaela’s leadership, RSG! has launched impactful programming, including the RSG! Virtual Program, a youth development initiative serving more than 40,000 youth today. Her earlier career included three years with the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Additionally, she supported Women in Sports and Events (WISE), a leading voice and resource for women in the business of sports, by acting as a volunteer to lead their social media activities. 

Michaela was surrounded by sports growing up; competitively skiing in the Winter and sailing in the Summer, with Fall and Spring dedicated to Lacrosse. She was a collegiate D1 athlete in the sport of sailing at College of Charleston. During this time, she represented her team in the NCAA’s Student Athletic Advisory Committee.  With a degree in International Business from the College of Charleston, Michaela has a passion for delivering world-class strategic partnership initiatives that drive overall brand awareness and business goals.
