Lori Verdegaal joined USA Water Polo in January 2013 as the Women’s Development National ?Team manager. She has since worked with the Men’s Development as well as the Women’s Junior and Men’s Youth National Teams. She currently is the Men’s Senior National Team manager. Her responsibilities include working with the head coach, assistant coaches, and athletes ensuring that calendaring, travel arrangements, pool scheduling, events, fundraising, and day-to-day training needs are met.
Lori was head coach for the Hanford High School (CA) boys’ varsity water polo team in 2015 and assistant coach for the Hanford High School girls’ varsity water polo team in 2014. She also was Hanford High’s assistant swim coach for both boys and girls from 2013-2015. She also was a board member for Kings Water Polo Club (2013-2016). Lori was an active member of Kings Guild for 15 years, raising money for Children’s Hospital of California. Before joining USA Water Polo, Lori worked for US Cold Storage as a manager and for an accounting firm. She studied business and accounting at College of the Sequoias. She is married to Darren and has three boys who play water polo. Outside of work she enjoys participating in triathlons, hiking, and outdoor activities.
