Athlete of the Month - September 2011 Steven Casas - Commerce Aquatics

Steven Casas, is nominated by the Commerce Boys Water Polo Coaching staff for his role on the 2011 SwimOutlet.com USA Water Polo Junior Olympics Silver Medal Team.

Steven's play in 2011 has assisted the Commerce 10 & under team to the medal rounds in every major Tournament/League:

Silver-California Cup State Finals
Silver - US Club Championships
Silver - San Diego Cup
Gold - Marc Rauchwarger Memorial Cup
Gold - Winterfest
Gold - Coastal Zone Regional Championships

His vision in the pool gives him the qualities expected from every water polo athlete but his feel for the game allows him to play the style of a Commerce water polo player. Steven's dedication and efforts since the age of seven, has allowed him to lead his team in goals and assist in 2011.
