Gayle Shanks joined USA Water Polo as the Human Resources Representative in September of 2011. Gayle brings 20+ years of experience in Human Resources in the areas of employee relations, training, recruitment, benefits administration, and employee/corporate development. She has served as an HR executive at Apple Computer, Silicon Graphics and Children's Hospital of the Central Valley as well as in her own consulting business.
Gayle's background also extends into education where she was an elementary school teacher. An avid supporter of youth sports, Gayle has also been involved in team administration in soccer, baseball, and lacrosse. Gayle holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Cal State Long Beach and an M.A. in Human Resources/Organization Development from the University of San Francisco.
