What advice would you give your younger self, and what would you remind your older self?
To younger self: There will be a lot of hard times coming up. Don’t worry. There will be many people along the way who will be there for you. Just remember to open yourself up and lean on them. The most important thing though is to keep believing in yourself’ you’ll be amazed at the things you learn.
Remind older self: Don’t forget the reasons why you began playing this sport: The love of being in the water and the joy of competing and connecting with your teammates.
Thank yous, comments, etc.: Always be thankful for coaches and teachers and family, because whether you like them or not, they are the ones who push you to grow and help mold you into who you become.
