The 2020 & 2016 Olympic Gold medalist is a three-time All-American and a senior at Stanford University. What was the moment you knew you wanted to represent your country in the Olympic Games?Was it always in the sport of water polo?
I think I've wanted to be an Olympian ever since I figured out my dad was one. It was before I even understood what being an Olympian actually was, but I just knew that it was something special. 
What is your hidden talent?
I excel at both singing and dancing.
What is your favorite karaoke song?
“Wonderwall” by Oasis. Guaranteed crowd favorite. 
If you could compete in another sport during the Olympic Games what would it be and why?
Soccer! This used to be my favorite sport until I got really tall and gangly and awkward on land. I also think Mia Hamm is the coolest person on this planet.
What is one thing you have to have with you when you travel?
Nutella.
Biggest superstition if you have one?
I am not at all superstitious. 
What is your biggest fear?
Swallowing pills (not a joke).
What causes are most dear to your heart?
Anything related to the environment!
What are two truths and a lie about you?
My esophagus is the size of an infant’s.
I used to ride a unicycle.

Fish! Last name is Fischer, and I play water polo. Came pretty naturally.
