Team USA goalkeeper Adrian Weinberg came up with a penalty shot save for Panathinaikos in a shootout victory over BVSC, 21-18. Weinberg blocked Balint Ekler's attempt to solidify the win and the Greek side now looks ahead to a matchup with their domestic rivals, Vouliagmeni.

Elsewhere, Team USA attacker Jewel Roemer did the same with Mataro against Mediterrani, 16-7, and Sant Feliu, 20-9. Roemer exploded for four goals in the win over Mediterrani and five goals in the win against Sant Feliu. Finally, Team USA attacker Maryn Dempsey and Tenerife Echeyde lost twice, to Terrassa and Sant Andreu. Dempsey registered five goals in the loss to Sant Andreu.
