Irvine, CA - December 16, 2025 - The USA Water Polo Men's National Team will kick-off their 2026 competition schedule with a two-game series against Australia this January in Orange County. The two teams who met in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Olympic Games, a match won by Team USA en route to a bronze medal, squared off last summer in three-game series with Australia claiming two victories. This time around the teams will meet on January 10 at the Woollett Aquatics Center in Irvine, CA at 6pm pt and the next day at Mt. San Antonion College in Walnut, CA at 1pm pt. Coming off an 8th place finish at the 2025 World Championships, Team USA looks to improve their standing in 2026 with the World Aquatics World Cup on tap this July in Sydney, Australia. World Cup qualifications are set for April, Team USA won bronze in their last World Cup competition back in 2023. Rosters for the series will be announced closer to the start of competition.
