Diablo Alliance Girls, Shore Aquatics Boys Earn Gold At 2025 Delfina USA Champions Cup

Diablo Alliance earned the gold medal in the Girls Division
Bloomington, IN - November 10 - The 2025 Delfina USA Champions Cup concluded yesterday at the IU Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center with champions crowned in two divisions and sportsmanship awards announced. In the girls division it was Diablo Alliance winning gold, Del Mar earning silver, and Santa Barbara claiming bronze. Diablo Alliance defeated Del Mar 9-3 while Santa Barbara beat San Diego Shores 7-6 in the third place match. On the boys side it was Shore Aquatics winning gold, Mission earning silver, and Channel Islands claiming bronze. Shore Aquatics got the best of Mission 10-5 in the final with Channel Islands defeating San Diego Shores 14-11 in the third place match. For complete tournament results, click here.

Prior to the medal matches, the annual sportsmanship awards were announced. Named in honor of water polo legends Maureen O'Toole and Jody Campbell, the award recognizes excellent sportsmanship efforts from one member of each participating club.
