Italian Domestic League, Day 3

Pro Recco - Savona, 13-9

Team USA center Ben Hallock and Pro Recco defeated Team USA attacker Marko Vavic and Savona. Vavic scored once on the day for Savona in the loss.


Ortigia - Brescia, 7-3

Team USA attackers squared off in this one as Luca Cupido and Ortigia got the best of Max Irving and Brescia in a defensive battle, 7-3.

 

Telimar - De Akker, 17-4

Team USA attackers Johnny Hooper and Quinn Woodhead carried Telimar offensively with six goals and five goals, respectively, in a dominating win.


Italian Domestic League, Day 4

Pro Recco - AN Roma, 16-10

Ben Hallock and Pro Recco continued their winning ways with a comfortable win over AN Roma last weekend.


Savona - Ortigia, 8-7

Marko Vavic and Luca Cupido each scored once for their squads but Vavic and Savona came out on top, 8-7. At halftime, the teams were tied at 3-3. Savona entered the final quarter with a 6-5 edge. Midway through the fourth period, the hosts widened the gap to three (8-5). Savona kept that advantage for a while. Ortigia scored two goals in the 32nd minute but couldn't equalize.


Brescia - Catania, 20-10

Max Irving and Brescia doubled up Catania to bounce back on Day 4.


Telimar - Salerno, 10-12

Johnny Hooper scored twice but Quinn Woodhead could not find the back of the cage and Telimar suffered its first defeat of the season in Italy. The visitors from Palermo led 3-1 at the first break. Still, the middle two quarters belonged to Salerno, which earned a three-goal lead before the final eight minutes (10-7). Telimar narrowed the distance, but Salerno responded with two goals for 12-8. Two late goals from the visiting players couldn't change the outcome.


 

French Domestic League, Day 4

Noisy-le-Sec - Montpellier, 11-9

Team USA attacker Alex Bowen led the way for Noisy-le-Sec with six goals in a win over Montpellier.

 


French Domestic League, Day 5

Noisy-le-Sec - Pays d'Aix, 15-13

The Parisians earned three points thanks to a big comeback. After three periods, the score was 10-10. Pays d'Aix opened the fourth quarter and took a 12-10 lead. Noisy responded with three goals and went in front 13-12. The visitors leveled at 13-13, but the Parisians scored the last two goals in the match in the last two and a half minutes to set the final score, 15-13. Alex Bowen scored twice to match the difference between the two sides.


Regional League, Round 5

Jadran Split - Jug Dubrovnik, 12-11

Team USA attackers Thomas Gruwell and Hannes Daube squared off in Round 5 of the Regional League. Jug led 9-8 at the last break and 10-9 in the middle of the fourth period, however, Jadran was a better team in the final minutes. The visitors earned an 11-10 lead with 78 seconds remaining on the clock, scoring back-to-back goals within 60 seconds. Jug converted a penalty for 11-11 with 49 seconds left on the clock. It seemed that the match would enter a shootout but Jadran stole the ball in Jug's final attack and the visitors' coach called a timeout with seven remaining. Loren Fatovic, Jug's captain until this summer, beat the buzzer with 0:01 and Jadran recorded a 12-11 victory.


Regional League, Round 6

Jug Dubrovnik - Mornar, 13-9

Hannes Daube and Jug bested Mornar in Round 6, 13-9.


Jadran Split - Jadran Herceg Novi, 15-14

Thomas Gruwell helped Jadran Split outlast its namesake. The Montenegrins started very well in this one as they led 4-2. But Jadran Split made a big turn. At halftime, the Croats were three steps ahead of their rival (8-5). Early in the fourth quarter, they were up 15-8. The visitors saved some energy for the finish and scored the final six goals of the match. The team from Herceg Novi came very close but could not draw even.


Greek Domestic League, Day 1 (postponed match)

Peristeri - Chios, 13-7

Team USA goalkeeper Drew Holland and Peristeri defeated Chios in a retroactive match from Day 1.


Greek Domestic League, Day 4

Peristeri - Panathinaikos, 6-6

Drew Holland and Team USA attacker Ben Stevenson shared the points after a 6-6 tie.


Vouliagmeni - Ethnikos, 13-7

Team USA defender Dylan Woodhead and Vouliagmeni picked up the win versus Ethnikos, 13-7.


Spanish Domestic League, Day 4

Mediterrani - Catalunya, 10-7

Team USA defender Mason McQuet scored one on the day as Mediterrani beat Catalunya by three.


Mataro - Barcelona, 8-15

Team USA goalkeeper Jack Turner and Mataro lost to Barcelona on Day 4 in Spain.
