USA Men Fall To Montenegro 17-5 In Junior World Championship Quarterfinals

Prague, Czech Republic - September 3 - The USA Men's National Team lost to Montenegro 17-5 in the quarterfinal round at the FINA Junior World Championship. Zach Frazier scored two goals with Adrian Weinberg and Liam Ward combining for seven saves. Montenegro took control early delivering six goals in the first eight minutes to go in front 6-2 after one. Montenegro added four more goals in the second and quickly amassed a 10-3 advantage at halftime. Team USA's defense clamped down in the third allowing just one goal, trimming the deficit to six at 11-5 going to the fourth. Team USA would get no closer as Montenegro came back with six more goals in the fourth to take the victory at 17-5.
