Everything That You Need To Know For Junior Olympics This Year

Irvine, CA - July 14 - The Junior Olympics are back again for 2021. Before the first games are played the first JO Expo takes place on Friday, July 16 and then the first session of competition gets underway on Saturday, July 17. Here is everything that you need to know before you go.

Photo ID Required for Participants - Prior to the start of each game, all athletes and coaches must show a photo ID.

Acceptable forms of ID (headshot photos must be clear and recent)

  • USA Water Polo Membership Identification Card
    • Permanent; Temporary; OR via smart phone access to membership account
  • School-Issued Identification Card
  • State- or Government-Issued Identification Card
  • State-issued Drivers License
  • Passport or copy of passport photo page

Tickets
Full Session Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY.
Day passes are available at each pool for $15/Day ($20 for Championship Day), cash only.
Sibling Crossover Ticket Requests will be accepted until Wednesday 7/14, you can find all ticketing information and the sibling crossover request form HERE

Admission Policy:
Persons in attendance at any USA Water Polo event agree to abide by all of USA Water Polo's rules and policies, including USA Water Polo's Minor Abuse Prevention Policies, and those of the venue to which the individual is being provided access.

Results and Advancements
Online results database will have the most up-to-date schedules throughout the tournament, click HERE to access the results link.  While we never anticipate changes, please note there may be slight changes through the event. The HOT! Results link will have the most up to date information. For assistance in tracking and reading the brackets follow these Directions.

Live Streaming
Live streaming will be available of all platinum division gold medal matches on July 20, July 25 and August 1 courtesy of Game On Live Studio. More instructions on how to access the free broadcast will be made available throughout the tournament, Session 1 links are available now by clicking here

JO Expo: Session One- July 16th & Session Two - July 21st

Come learn about College Recruiting with a presentation by Next College Student Athlete (NCSA),  attend an interactive session with Retired USAWP Olympians, or learn some useful information on Training an Olympic Performance Mindset with Brian Alexander.

We will have our Partners and Vendors available at "The Cage" so you can pick up some great items and gear from many of our partners! You may also pick up your spectator tickets at the Expo and avoid the lines at the game sites! For the full schedule and descriptions of each session, please click HERE.

The JO Expo is FREE, and Self-Parking is Available for $5 for the duration of the JO Expo at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa, 3050 Bristol St, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.


NCSA – OFFICIAL RECRUITING PARTNER OF USA WATER POLO
During Junior Olympics, collegiate water polo coaches scouting will be utilizing an app provided by our partner Next College Student Athlete ("NCSA"). The NCSA app will allow scouting coaches to track prospective student-athletes and better serve the needs of student-athletes looking to compete at the next level.

Parking at game sites/venues: 
Please read parking regulation signs carefully at all respective game sites. Expect to pay at University/College campuses. More info on parking in the USA Water Polo Events App!

NEW Photo Policy:
Spectators are welcome to take photos and videos from the spectator area with a valid admission. Any photography or videography must not interfere with the view of other fans or the participation of athletes, coaches, officials and event staff.

NO photography of any kind (camera, cell phone camera, etc.) permitted in restrooms, changing tents or other private settings.

Photo agreement for all attendees:

I understand and accept that I may not make use of any images, film or video obtained by me at the event, including any images, film or video derived from, or utilizing images, files or video obtained by me, at the event (collectively, "Event Imagery") without prior written permission from USAWP, other than personal use. I understand that I have no right to sell, transfer, license, sublicense, or give my Event Imagery to any other party, except for personal use, and that I have no right to use or display or authorize the use or display of any Event Imagery to the extent such use or display would violate the privacy rights of any person. I assign to USAWP a joint ownership in the copyright to my Event Imagery for the purpose of enabling USAWP to enforce that copyright against any third party that displays or distributes any of my Event Imagery in a manner not authorized by these Terms and Conditions. I appoint USAWP as my attorney-in-fact to execute any documents necessary to effectuate such assignment. USAWP agrees that it will not utilize this joint copyright to enter into any licensing agreements for the Event Imagery. If USAWP notifies me that any Event Imagery must be removed from public display, for any reason whatsoever, in USAWP's sole discretion, I will promptly remove, or cause to be removed, those images from public display. USAWP, as joint copyright holder, reserves all rights to revoke any license that was erroneously placed on Event Imagery in violation of these Terms and Conditions and may cause the removal of such Event Imagery on any webpage or social media on which it is displayed.
