June 29, 2017 USA Water Polo needs your help to grow our sport!
Consider a gift to support our Texas initiatives outlined below. Make your donation by July 15th and thanks to a generous match up to $5,000 from The Benners Family, you'll be doing twice as much good for the sport you love that benefits you and your family. USAWP is a not for profit so all donations are 100% tax deductible.
USAWP has invested heavily in growing water polo throughout Texas over the past two years:
* Petitioning the University Interscholastic League (UIL) to consider statewide varsity status for water polo.
* Hosting two international events in Texas over the past 18 months; the Women's FINA Intercontinental Cup in Dallas and a Men's USA vs. Montenegro exhibition in Houston.
* Developing sustainable club models that we plan to seed and roll out in 2017/2018.
* Elevating Joe Linehan's Texas Development Manager position to full time. Joe has a proven record of growing the game and with a full time focus, Joe can do even more.
To sustain our efforts and continue our momentum, we need your help. Membership revenue gets us only so far. USAWP does not receive government funding and only up to 30% of our Senior National Teams budget from the United States Olympic Committee.
Donors giving $500+ receive two credentials for free admission to all USA Water Polo hosted events, including Junior Olympics.
Donors giving $2,500+ receive credentials, a Patron membership and access and benefits including Meet and Greets and special events with Olympians and USAWP leadership and VIP seating at select National Team events.
