Huntington Beach, CA - April 11 - The draw for the 2016 Olympic Games was announced this past weekend following the conclusion of the Men's Olympic Qualification Tournament in Trieste, Italy. The USA Men have been drawn into Group B alongside Spain, France Montenegro, Italy and Croatia. Group A features Serbia, Greece, Brazil, Australia, Japan and Hungary. The men's water polo competition begins on August 6 in Rio when Team USA will take on Croatia.
The USA Women's National Team, defending Olympic Champions have also been drawn into Group B and they join Spain, China, and Hungary. Group A features Italy, Russia, Australia and Brazil. The women's water polo competition begins on August 9 in Rio when Team USA will take on Spain.
