The winner of the S & R Sport Club of the Month for June 2015 is the Gator Water Polo Club of Gainesville, Florida. For winning, Gator will receive a gift from S & R Sport. To nominate a club you think is worthwhile please email media@usawaterpolo.org. Here is the nomination submitted by Max.
I would like to nominate Gator Water Polo Club in Gainesville, FL as USAWP's club of the month.
Gator Water Polo Club is lead by a group of experienced, passionate volunteer coaches and supported by a talented and committed group of youth athletes.
Within the span of 18 months, the club has increased membership by 400%, raised almost $10,000 for equipment and scholarships, and organized the first annual Florida/Georgia Clinic and the Orange & Blue Games. Gator Water Polo Club's leadership is also actively working with the Florida state legislature to develop a state-of-the-art aquatics facility in the Gainesville, FL area, helping to make north Florida a center of water polo excellence in the southeast and beyond.
