2015 Illinois Boy's Water Polo State Champions - Lyons

Huntington Beach, CA - May 26 - Illinois and Washington crowned high school state champions this past weekend with Illinois deciding the boy's and girl's champs and Washington crowning a girl's winner. In Illinois it was the boys of Lyons High School defeating Stevenson 9-6 for the win while the Stevenson girls topped New Trier 11-3. In Washington, Gig Harbor capped an undefeated season by topping Newport 10-3 for their fifth title in the last six years. See below for recaps from local newspapers.
