Mesa, AZ - October 25 - The 2015 Rock-tober PCA 12 & Under Classic concluded earlier today in Mesa, Arizona with Vanguard claiming first place. Vanguard topped defending champion San Diego Shores 21-5 to earn the title while Commerce took home third place edging ORWP 10-7. For complete Rock-tober results, click here. Prior to the championship match the annual Sportsmanship Award recipients were recognized. The Rock-tober PCA 12 & Under Classic has a focus on positive sportsmanship in collaboration with the Positive Coaching Alliance. See below for a complete list of the recipients.

As for the rest of the standings, in fifth place Greenwich topped Santa Barbara 805 16-6 while Viper Pigeon South slipped past Riverside 11-10. Pacific Polo was also a one goal winner defeating Colorado 9-8 for ninth with LA Premier topping Vanguard Silver 8-5 for 11th place. A battle of San Diego saw La Jolla over Coronado 8-6 for 13th place and Chelsea Piers beating Pride WP Academy 13-4 for 15th place. In 17th place it was the SOCAL Boys defeating Rocky Mountain Neptunes 16-10 while two SOCAL squads squared off for 19th place with Black over Gold 9-1. A thrilling finish unfolded in the 21st place game with Bruin topping Viper Pigeon West in a shootout 14-13 while rounding things out in 23rd place Rose Bowl topped Mesa Water Polo 12-5.
