USC freshman and National Team athlete Jon Walters passed away last week at age 19. A paddle-out was held yesterday in Newport Beach with a memorial service planned for next weekend. A scholarship has also been established, more information is available below.

A memorial service for Jon Walters has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday (January 18) at Mariners Church of Irvine. The Walters family has requested that all water polo players in attendance wear their club or college team shirts.

In addition, USC has set up a Jon Walters Memorial Scholarship per the family's wishes.
