Water Polo Tournaments
There is a lot of water polo action throughout the summer. Water polo tournaments are held to spur competition whether it is between USA Water Polo clubs or water polo teams from around the world. The Hawaiian Invitational Water Polo Tournament is one of those tournaments that attract water polo clubs from around the world.
The Hawaiian Invitational Water Polo Tournament was started in 1968 and is in its 45th year. Although its location, Honolulu, Hawaii, attracts many tourists and vacation goers, the size and recognition of the tournament is what attracts the 100 teams from places such as Italy, Canada, New Zealand, England, Australia, and Brazil.
The tournament has age brackets for both men and women ranging from division 14 and under to those above the age of 18. The Hawaiian Invitational Tournament's sponsor makes traveling easier by offering travel packages. Those using their sponsor will also be guaranteed a spot in the tournament.
