2013 US Club Water Polo Championships
Getting to the Championship round and becoming champions is an exhilarating feeling. The United States Club Water Polo Championships offers its clubs an opportunity to become one. In its most recent tournament Vanguard, Commerce, and Socal all received gold in different age divisions.
United States Club Water Polo Championships started in 2007 and entered its 6th year. The tournament originally started out with six clubs who were CHAWP, Commerce, Lamorinda, Los Alamitos, San Diego Shores, and PNW United. It has since expanded and added more clubs selecting water polo clubs based on their performance at previous tournaments. The tournament has a five person committee who carefully select the teams that will compete in its championships. The committee tries to select teams from different regions to ensure fairness in the tournament.
