BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The University of Southern California remains unchallenged at No. 1 as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the Week 10/March 27 National Top 20, Division III Top 10, CWPA Division I/II Top 10 and CWPA Division III Top Five.
USC joins Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (Division III Top 10) and Grove City College (CWPA Division III Top Five) in defending a No. 1 ranking from last week, while Indiana University returns to the top spot in theCWPA Division I/II Top 10 Poll.
Voted on by a panel of coaches from the CWPA, Western Water Polo Association (WWPA), Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC), Big West Conference, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the polls are compiled and released on Wednesday during the season through the week following the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship.
2013 Women's Varsity National Top 20
The University of Southern California garnered 100 points for the fifth time in as many weeks to retain its position as the unanimous top team in the 2013 Week 10/March 27 Women's Varsity National Top 20 Poll.
USC, which displaced Stanford University (95 points) for the top position, leads a Top 10 which experienced a minor change from the March 20 balloting.
Stanford, Arizona State University (90 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (86 points) and the University of California (80 points) remain locks at No. 2-to-5, respectively.
San Diego State University (72 points), the University of California-Irvine(71 points) and the University of Hawaii (67 points) hold on at No. 6-to-8, respectively, while Long Beach State University (57 points) is joined by former No. 10-ranked San Jose State University (57 points) in a tie for the ninth position.
Unlike the Top 10, the No. 11-to-20 spots in the poll experienced radical change.
Loyola Marymount University (46 points), on the heels of a victory over former No. 11 Princeton University, climbs three positions to take over the Tigers' previous spot just outside the Top 10. Indiana University (39 points) and California State University-Northridge (36 points) hold on at No. 12 and 13 for another week, while Princeton (34 points) sinks to No. 14.
The University of California-San Diego (32 points) remains at No. 15, with the University of California-Davis (23 points) and the University of California-Santa Barbara (23 points) moving into a tie at No. 16.
University of the Pacific (18 points) is the final team to improve its position as the Tiges jmp two places to No. 18, with the University of Michigan (16 points) and Hartwick College (12 points) dropping down to No. 19 and 20, respectively.

2013 Women's Varsity Division III Top 10
The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges Athenas picked up 99 points to retain the No. 1 position in the 2013 Week 10/March 27 Women's Varsity National Division III Top 10 Poll.
Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (95 points), which held the No. 1 spot from the preseason poll until being displaced by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps three weeks ago, remains at No. 2.
California Lutheran University (85 points) holds on at No. 3, with the University of Redlands (84 points) and Occidental College (84 points) tying at No. 4.
Chapman University (73 points) and Whittier College (74 points) continue to rank at No. 4 and 5, respectively, with the University of La Verne (64 points) and Grove City College (64 points) tying for the No. 8 position.
Washington & Jefferson College (33 points) is the sole newcomer to the rankings as the President edge outConnecticut College (22 points) for the final berth in the Top 10.

2013 Women's CWPA Division I/II Top 10

The one week reign of Princeton University on top of the league rankings comes to an end as Indiana University (97 points) moves out of a tie at No. 2 to claime the No. 1 spot in the 2013 Week 10/March 27 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I/II Poll.
Indiana, which ranked at No. 1 for the four week period of February 20-to-March 13 before being displaced by the Tigers last week, exchanges positions with Princeton (92 points) this week.
The Tigers slide into a tie with the University of Michigan (92 points) at No. 2, while Hartwick College (92 points) and Harvard University (89 points) hold on at No. 4 and 5.
Only one change occurs over the final five positions in the Top 10 as George Washington University (74 points) moves up one spot to take over at No. 6. Brown University (70 points) drops down to No. 7, withBucknell University (66 points), Mercyhurst University (61 points) and Gannon University (33 points) completing the Top 10.
Notre Dame College (23 points) also received votes this week in falling 10 points shy of breaking into the Top 10.

2013 Women's CWPA Division III Top 5
The 2010, 2011 and 2012 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Champion Wolverines of Grove City College (100 points) remain the top selection as the No. 1 team in the Week 10/March 27 CWPA Division III Top Five Poll.
The No. 1 pick of the league's coaches for the 28th consecutive week, the Wolverines saw a narrow one-point lead in the March 20 balloting explode to six points this week in the wake of the league's first conference weekend.
Grove City, which went 4-0 with wins against Carthage College (10-3 W),Connecticut College (7-5 W), Macalester College (11-8 W) and Utica College (12-3 W) at Penn State Behrend, returns to be the unanimous No. 1 selection in the CWPA Division III ranks.
Overall, the Wolverines are one of only two teams in the Top Five to retain their ranking from the March 20 Poll.
Due to the outcome of the league weekend, Washington & Jefferson College (94 points), which defeated Macalester (12-5 W), Carthage (8-5 W), Utica (17-6 W), Connecticut (10-8 W) and Penn State Behrend (12-6 W), rises three positions to No. 2.
Connecticut (91 points) drops to No. 3 after falling to W&J, while Macalester (85 points) holds on at No. 4. Carthage (80 points) rounds out the Top Five.
