With the 2012 Olympic Games behind us, USA Water Polo is looking forward with passion, but also with purpose. We have achieved a great deal, however there is much more to do. As we seek more resources to advance our sport, contributions are more vital than ever. Unlike Olympic sports in most countries, USAWP does not receive government funding. The US Olympic Committee offers only limited support through corporate sponsorships.
The Mission of USA Water Polo is to grow our sport and win medals in Olympic, World Championship, and Pan American Games. Advancement is the official community building and fund-raising arm of the organization. We want to move our sport forward by engaging the water polo community with USAWP initiatives and events designed to help our members achieve their potential.
With annual fund campaign support, we are better able to serve our membership, grow our sport and support our National Teams. We also provide professional development for coaches and officials that support the high school and college game. Every 100% tax-deductible gift makes a difference to USAWP and sends a powerful message of support for the organization and its mission. Gifts of all sizes make an impact. Some foundations and other grant-making institutions look at the number of gifts rather than total amounts when determining grant requests. All gifts, viewed as a vote of confidence, help USAWP secure thousands of additional dollars in funding.

- Polo in Every Pool: USAWP is dedicated to providing opportunities for everyone, regardless of age, locale or financial limitations, to participate in water polo.
- Preserve and expand the college game
- Provide Professional Coach and Referee Development at all levels
- Strengthen our Safe Sport Environment and broaden our Positive Coaching
Water polo has given so much to our family that we decided to give back, whether it be volunteering or donating to USA Water Polo. Our daughter has played water polo for almost eleven years and the sport has been the biggest force outside of her family to help her become the beautiful young woman she is today. I believe in USA Water Polo's motto, "Polo in every pool" and see a huge commitment from USAWP to the betterment of water polo, a love of the sport and an organization that is highly professional. I see USAWP trying to put on the best tournaments and successful fundraising events and marketing promotions all keeping the costs down as much as possible. USA Water Polo serves the athlete that wants to play for fun and enjoyment and also those athletes that strive to be an Olympian. We are grateful we are able to support such an amazing organization.
