BRIDGEPORT, Pa. -- The nation's best remain the same as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the Week 4/February 13 Women's Varsity National Top 20, Division III Top 10, CWPA Division I/II Top 10 and CWPA Division III Top Five.
Stanford University (National Top 20), Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (Division III Top 10), Princeton University(CWPA Division I/II Top 10) and Grove City College (CWPA Division III Top Five), which concluded the 2012 season on top of their respective polls, continue to dominate the standings for another season of play.
Voted on by a panel of coaches from the CWPA, Western Water Polo Association (WWPA), Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC), Big West Conference, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the polls are compiled and released on Wednesday during the season through the week following the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship.
2013 Women's Varsity National Top 20
The Cardinal of Stanford University continue a string of success dating back nearly three full seasons as the 2011 and 2012 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) National Champions garnered 100 points to remain unchallenged at No. 1 in the 2013 Week 4/February 13 Women's Varsity National Top 20 Poll.
Overall, the Top Ten positions of the Top 20 remain unchanged from the Week 3 balloting as the University of Southern California (95 points), University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA, 90 points), University of California (85 points), Arizona State University (80 points), University of California-Irvine (75 points), San Diego State University (67 points), San Jose State University (64 points), University of Hawaii(62 points) and Princeton University (57 points) remain locked in at No. 2-to-10, respectively.
However, unlike the upper half of the poll, positions No. 11-to-20 experienced radical changes as only two of the final 10 teams in the Top 20 from seven days ago retain their position for another week.
Long Beach State University (47 points), which received votes to rate outside the Top 20 last week, blasts into the rankings to take over at No. 11. Indiana University (42 points) remains at No. 12, while the University of California-Santa Barbara (38 points) acquires sole possession of the No. 13 berth after tying with theUniversity of California-Davis (35 points) last week.
California State University-Northridge (25 points) creeps up to No. 15, while the University of California-San Diego (23 points) and Loyola Marymount University (23 points) move into a tie at No. 16.
University of the Pacific (21 points) and the University of Michigan (17 points) slide to No. 18 and 19, respectively, with California State University-Bakersfield (3 points) joining Long Beach State as the lone newcomers to the Top 20.

2013 Women's Varsity Division III Top 10
Pomona-Pitzer Colleges , which captured the 2012 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) title, remains the best small college program in the nation as the Sagehens garnered 98 points to retain the No. 1 ranking in the Week 4/February 13 Women's Varsity Division III Top 10.
Unlike last week in which the Sagehens held a narrow one-point lead over their closest competitor for the top spot, the spread expands to four points in the Week 4 balloting overClaremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges (94 points).
Occidental College (87 points), the University of Redlands (86 points) and California Lutheran University (79 points) also retain their spots as the Top Five remains unchanged from last week.
The lone change in the poll occurs at No. 6 as Chapman University (73 points) picked up enough votes to edge past Whittier College (72 points).
University of La Verne (67 points), Grove City College (48 points) and Washington & Jefferson College(47 points) complete the ranked squads.

2013 Women's CWPA Division I/II Top 10
The 2012 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Eastern Champion Tigers ofPrinceton University (100 points) put any doubts about their top billing to rest as the squad became a unanimous No. 1 selection in the Week 4/February 13 CWPA Division I/II Top 10 Poll.
Princeton, which defeated the University of Maryland 6-5 at Brown University's Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center for the CWPA Eastern crown prior to placing sixth at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship at San Diego State University, is coming off the program's second CWPA Eastern Championship after winning the 2000 title as well. The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history as the national governing body did not sponsor a championship in the sport until 2001.
Princeton, which was a last unanimous top pick in the preseason poll, returns to reigning as the league's consensus No. 1 squad.
However, the closest rival to the Tigers' crown changes this week as Indiana University (94 points) leaps over the University of Michigan (91 points) to take over in the runner-up position.
Behind the Tigers, Hoosiers and Wolverines, Hartwick College (85 points) continues to cling to No. 4, while Brown University (76 points) and Bucknell University (76 points) rate in a tie at No. 5. Harvard University (73 points), George Washington University (66 points), Mercyhurst University (61 points) stay at No. 7-to-9, while Notre Dame College (44 points) cracks the Top 10 in claiming the final position.

2013 Women's CWPA Division III Top 5
The 2010, 2011 and 2012 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Champion Wolverines of Grove City College remain the top selection as the No. 1 team in the Week 4/February 13 CWPA Division III Top Five Poll.
The No. 1 pick of the league's coaches for the 22nd consecutive week, the Wolverines captured their third consecutive CWPA Division III crown at home in the James E. Longnecker Competition Pool last season by upending Chatham University (19-2 W),Connecticut College (13-3 W) and Washington & Jefferson College (10-3 W).
However, the Wolverines have a pair of squads nipping at their heels in the race for CWPA Division III supremacy as Connecticut College (93 points) and Carthage College (93 points) are both within a single point of upending the reigning league champion.
Washington & Jefferson College (90 points) slides back to No. 4, with Macalester College (48 points) retaining the No. 5 position.
