Maccabi USA will send both men's and women's water polo teams to compete in the 19th World Maccabiah Games to be held in July 2013 in Israel.
The Games, which are contested in Israel every four years, include a slate of Olympic sports with opening and closing ceremonies and team and individual competitions. The trip also includes an additional week in Israel for tours of historical and current sites of interest. This is a unique opportunity to see Israel, spend time with athletes from around the world, and engage in high level sports competition.
If you are of the Jewish faith and have water polo experience, you can be considered to represent the United States at these international games. Mandatory tryouts will be held in California in August 2012 for the women and in December 2012 for the men. (The exact dates to be determined as soon as possible.)
