Huntington Beach, Calif. – May 12, 2010 – Orange, California-based Big Fish Payroll, a rising power in the world of Payroll Services has joined forces with USA Water Polo to serve as the organization's official payroll services partner in an agreement that runs through January 2011. As official payroll services sponsor, Big Fish will handle all payroll services for USA Water Polo, the national governing body for the sport in America. In addition Big Fish will offer special services and benefits to USA Water Polo members and clubs.
An agreement with USA Water Polo was a "no-brainer" for Big Fish Payroll, as the company was founded by Justin Dignam, a veteran water polo player. Dignam was involved at multiple levels with the sport. He played collegiately at the University of Richmond in the 1980s, coached at the collegiate level at both Iona College and Wesleyan University, and refereed for the EWPA. "The relationship with USA Water Polo is a very special one for me. Water polo is, and always will be, in my blood. Since my playing career has now ended this is a logical way for me to remain involved in a professional capacity with water polo," said Dignam.
Along with managing payroll services for USA Water Polo, Dignam and Big Fish are also sensitive to the hundreds of clubs that are members of USA Water Polo and handle their own payroll processing. To that end, Big Fish will be offering a free consultation, no set-up charge, and one free month of payroll processing, to any USA Water Polo member, whether it be for a club or their own business ventures. "One area I am hopeful to help in is the difficulties clubs across the US may have in remaining compliant regarding payroll. Not performing payroll tasks legally and timely can financially ruin even the best and most talented clubs.
