Stockton CA, July 23- Today is the day that all teams were striving to reach for the Championship round. In the first Semi-Final of the day, SET faced off against SBWPC. In a closely contested tussle, SBWPC came out on top 9-8 advancing them to the final game. Leaving SET headed to the third place game.

In the remaining Semi-Final the hottest team in the tournament Stanford RED took on CHAWP. CHAWP put up a great fight against high powered Stanford RED, but not enough to pull out the victory, as Stanford Red advances to the Finals with a 12-11 win. By far their closest game of the tournament.

SET who came up a little short against SBWPC went head to head with Stanford Red victims CHAWP for third place in the tournament. CHAWP bounced back from a tough Semi-Final loss to capture third place, outscoring SET 11-6. It disappointing loss for SET as they take fourth place.

The biggest match of the tournament was pitted Stanford Red against SBWPC, with winner to be crowned Champions. SBWPC would not give up without a fight even though Stanford Red, riding a wave of momentum were the favorites to win.

SBWPC were able to breach the Stanford Red defense for 10 goals, not enough to capture the win against Stanford Red's lethal offense. The game ended in a 13-10 win, crowing Stanford Red Champions for the 2009

Women's 20 and Under National Championships.
